Looking for a tough, versatile, drought tolerant, low maintenance plant that can work in challenging locations?
|
Sedum, or Stonecrop, are succulents which have low water and maintenance requirements. Thriving in almost any well-drained, sunny spot, they are not particular about soil fertility or pH.
Especially attractive to butterflies, they work well in perennial borders, containers, and rock gardens. Sedum (about 400 worldwide species) comes in a range of shapes and sizes, are among the easiest of plants to propagate.
