We ship many plants year round, depending on field conditions and the weather. If you want shipment during the months of November to February, please request a ship date when you order. Unless an earlier ship date is confirmed, we will use the below shipping schedule chart as a guide for first ship dates to the respective Zones.
If you request a ship date in the Notes Section of your order, we will try to ship during your requested week; however, ship dates are approximate and subject to weather and field conditions. Shipments are made by UPS, USPS Priority Mail or common carrier as deemed appropriate.
We are committed to sending you the best plants available. All of our plant items are carefully identified, packaged and shipped. Many of our plants are shipped bare root and should be unpacked immediately, and either potted or planted. We ship bare root plants to the 48 contiguous United States, potted containers are not shipped to CA. Orders destined for AZ, CA, OR, or WA are treated with low toxicity pesticide per state regulations. See below for Canada, contact us for shipments to other destinations for minimums and terms.
Hardgood products are typically shipped within 3 to 14 days, often direct from the manufacturer. Shipping costs are calculated via the Shopping Cart based on the product and destination.
Plant orders placed by 12:00 pm on Friday, as a general rule of thumb, will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday, subject to weather and backlog . Plant orders received in March, April and May may anticipate a one to two week delay due to volume. See Shipping Schedule below for orders placed during winter months. If you have a specific desired shipping date, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate your request.

first item plus $1.00 for each additional item,
red states - $6.40
for the first item plus $1.40 for each additional

$6.60 for the first item plus $1.60 for each additional

Canada (bare root only)- $18.00 for the first item plus $1.00 for each additional item,
unless an additional amount is also noted (for example base rose rate is $2.00). We could choose a cheaper shipping
method, spend less time carefully preparing your plants for shipment and lose
less money to ensure that your plants arrive safely, but our accountant would
not sign off on our delivery guarantee statement.

Sales Tax - We must collect state sales tax on
Georgia orders, unless tax exemption paper work is submitted in advance.
When shipping an order to an address different than the
billing address, please provide any appropriate notes of explanation or
directions (gift note, birthday, etc.).

United States Postal Service Priority Mail - 2 to 3 day delivery. Large orders or flats may be shipped via UPS. Please
contact us if you prefer to have your order shipped by an overnight
service.

order or the weather in our area or yours may affect the anticipated shipping
schedule. All plants may not be available until mid April, depending on the
weather. Unless requested otherwise, an order will be held until all plants
are available. Plant orders shipped at different times or to multiple
addresses will be subject to additional shipping charges. In the event of excessive hot weather conditions, we may limit shipment of certain plants from mid-June through mid-August.
General merchandise purchased may be shipped with your plant order, or separately.

Substitutions
Orders placed on
line should not have a problem with substitutions. However, if an item you
order is unavailable or does not meet our quality standards, we will contact
you prior to sending a substitution.
Your
